| Mr. Sammy Watson
is the recipient of numerous art awards in Oklahoma,
Arkansas, Texas and Louisiana during the past 28 years.
Fifteen times selected as Portrait Hall of Fame Artist
for Eastern Oklahoma State College. Mr. Watson’s 3,000 -
plus portraits and sales throughout America and abroad
represents portion of his work. Painstaking
preparations, preliminary sketches, innumerable
photographs and repeated visualizations are the keys to
his remarkable ability to capture reality in mid-stride.
TRAINING
Eastern Oklahoma State College--two years as an art major.
Southeastern State University --two years as an art major.
Famous Artist Schools--three years in Commercial Art.
EXPERIENCE
Mr. Watson has taught art in
public and private schools for the
past 41 years.
